My story and my mission
I started Peace & Pure from a deeply personal place.
A few years ago, I went through a challenging time in my life, navigating depression, severe stress, and the weight of emotional pain that I couldn’t always express in words. It was during this time that I noticed my skin began to reflect everything I was feeling inside — dullness, inflammation, breakouts, premature signs of aging. No matter what I used, nothing seemed to help.
This led me to discover psychodermatology — a fascinating and emerging field that explores the connection between our mind and our skin. It helped me understand something profound: our mental and emotional health directly affects our physical health, especially the skin. Stress, anxiety, and emotional trauma don’t just stay beneath the surface — they show up visibly on our skin.
As I began to heal, I turned to mindfulness, natural skincare, and gentle self-care rituals. These small, nurturing moments became deeply restorative. My search for healing my skin and my pursuit of emotional wellbeing came together in a way that felt whole and harmonious — and that’s when Peace & Pure was born.
