The 13th of July was National Clean Beauty Day, a day to celebrate the clean beauty movement — where products are mindfully created, produced with healthful ingredients, sustainably and ethically sourced and made with the health of our bodies and the environment in mind.
At Peace & Pure, we believe clean beauty is essential for your skin health and wellness. Our Timeless Elixir Serum is made with premium organic ingredients, formulated without added sulphates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, PEGs, or SLSs. It is certified vegan and cruelty-free, and 100% derived from botanicals.
And alongside our product, we also pride ourselves on living ethically, making environmentally friendly and conscious decisions as people and as a business. Below are the 5 ways of how we live consciously for our environment:
Every product we purchase has an environmental footprint, from the materials used to create it to the pollution emitted during manufacturing to the packaging that ends up in landfills. Peace & Pure’s products are made of 95% recyclable materials in our packaging, and we also use all recyclable materials in our office, besides our team’s personal daily consuming choices.
In a world of overconsumption, we believe it is important to buy less. It is also the reason why we only create the best multi-task product possible to resolve multiple skincare needs instead of creating and producing many products at once.
Meat production is one of the most environmentally unfriendly industries and is responsible for great amounts of water use, pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and habitat interruption. By reducing your meat consumption you can reduce your environmental footprint, whilst benefiting your body. This is also a reason why Peace & Pure is a vegan brand, as we believe in the power of plants, and also in supporting less animal products consumption.
Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues, as the production of disposable plastic products has increased rapidly. Fortunately, there are reusable alternatives we should invest in, for example bamboo straws, and ‘’bags for lives’’.
Being transparent and making the commitment toward a more sustainable environment is something we want to promise to our customers. We believe doing good for the environment and doing good for our customers go hand in hand. We hope you enjoyed this reading and also hope it inspired you in some way on how to live more consciously for our environment, our earth - our home for all of us.
