My skin was giving me away: tired, tight, reactive. I was going through a period of intense stress and depression, and my skin became the visible record of everything I was feeling inside. I noticed something that felt obvious once I saw it: when my mind was in crisis, my skin was too. Stress wasn't only making my skin reactive, it was quietly ageing it.
